MASTERS OF THE COVO
Together with the Spiga d'Oro award, in the 1998 edition of the feast, the Committee established another prestigious award, this time intended for the true protagonists of the Covo. It was the first time the many people of Campocavallo who, for decades, had passionately devoted their art and craft to make the event great, received personal recognition. Not without reason, over time, people started to associate the terms masterpiece and artists with the Covo and the people working at it, respectively. It was from the unanimous will of the Committee that the Honor Roll of the Masters of the Covo was born.
The awarding of the coveted prize publicly honors and recognizes the virtues, expertise, and artistry of the extraordinary artisans from Campocavallo.
