SPIGA D’ORO - the Golden Ear of Wheat

Starting from the 1998 edition, the Organizing Committee of the “Festa del Covo” established the prestigious Spiga d'oro award, which is given every year to personalities from the world of religion, culture and public life who, although not belonging to the parish community, have made a decisive contribution to the success of the event.

The award consists of a golden ear of wheat in an artistic case and a parchment with the reason for the recognition.
