The Covo at the Vatican

In the years between 1983 and 2019, the Covo entered the gates of the Vatican to be admired and blessed by the Pope six times: three times with Saint John Paul II (1983, 1994 and 1996), once with Benedict XVI (2008) and twice with Pope Francis (2014 and 2019). The Pontiffs all had words of appreciation and participated with enthusiasm in the meetings with the parishioners who each time accompanied the Covo to St. Peter's Square or the Paul VI Hall led by the Archbishop of Ancona-Osimo and the parish priest.
