The Museum of the Covo and Rural Civilization of the Marche Region

The Museum was founded in 2010 as part of Associazione Marchigiana Ricerche e Studi sulla Tradizione Popolare (the Association for Research and Studies on Popular Tradition of the Marche region). Since then, it has exhibited the different versions of the Covo built over the years together with photographic documentation of the peasant traditions of the region, thus preserving the great cultural heritage, both material and immaterial, which the feast has been passing down from generation to generation since 1939.

While waiting for the new regional seat of the Museum to be built in Campocavallo, a true center of interpretation of the tradition of the Covo, the history of Campocavallo and the peasant civilization of the Marche region, the room that temporarily houses some of the most beautiful versions of the Covo constructed in recent years is open by appointment.
